"Indoor tanning is safer than the sun" is a myth???

(1) Does the sun keep a record of your tanning experience so it knows how your skin reacts to it?

(2) Does the sun shut itself off after a recommended time based on your tanning history?

(3) Does the sun emit a consistent strength so you know just how long of an exposure is too much?

(4) Does the sun shine when you want it to?

(5) Does the sun come to you in a private, air conditioned room?

I don't think so!!!

This article was very intersting. I tan and my friends tell me that I am going to develop skin cancer. I now know that it is atually helpful for me to tan. I had no idea that my body would produce vitamin D from tanning. I am glad that i know! I am currently working on a blog about tanning. I should be finished in a few weeks if you would like to read it. Thanks.

I find this article very intriguing. I have been interested and researched the topic of skin cancer for a couple of years now. I was aware of tanning beds helping produce vitamin D in the body, but I have never considered the fact that vitamin D deficiency could be more harmful than skin cancer. I am still not sure if I would considered that accurate since one of my family members passed away from skin caner. But I have written an article of skin caner and the use of tanning beds. You can read it at [http://sheah09.learnerblogs.org/2008/02/13/that-wont-happen-to-me/].
